Writer's Unit #30 President Peter Martin has announced that APS President Janet Klug will be the featured speaker at the February 11th Sunday morning Writer' s Unit breakfast at AmeriStamp Expo 2007, in Riverside, Calif. The breakfast will be held in the Marriott show hotel beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Her presentation is titled: "Are there only 100 greatest US stamps?" Klug will give insight into a new book scheduled for publication by Whitman Publishing. Discussion will include: How will the 100 Greatest be decided? What stamps should be the 100 Greatest? Who is the target audience?

The table of contents for the 4th Quarter issue of The Philatelic Communicator is now online.
The colors and graphics on the site have been changed to reflect the recent redesign of The Philatelic Communicator.

The current issue of The Philatelic Communicator is now available for download in PDF format. The 2nd and 3rd Quarter issues of 2006 are the first to be added to the site.
Joseph Foley and Robert Odenweller have been announced as the 2006 inductees to the Writers Unit 30 Hall of Fame.
Daniel Piazza has been named as Associate Editor of The Philatelic Communicator.
The Writers Unit breakfast at StampShow 2006 will feature a presentation by Alex Haimann regarding the National Postal Museum’s Arago Project.

The WU30 Breakfast is scheduled for APS StampShow 2006, Sunday August 27 at 8:30AM at the Hyatt Hotel across from the convention center.
Albert Starkweather of Tamp, FL has been appointed as the new editor of The Philatelic Communicator. He succeeds Gene Fricks who stepped in on an interim basis.

Editor of The Philatelic Communicator, Joe Foley, has announced that due to a personal situation, he will be handing over his duties on a temporary basis to Gene Fricks, a long time member of the WU30 Council and former editor of The Collectors Club Philatelist.
